Service 06
Manufacture, supply and installation of articulated cable concrete systems — interlocking concrete mats for erosion control, slope protection and underground service protection.
Overview
Articulated cable concrete systems are made of precast concrete blocks joined together by cables into flexible mats. They follow the shape of the ground, stay in place under flowing water and carry vehicle loads, making them ideal wherever soil needs to be held in place.
MITA manufactures the blocks, assembles the mats and installs them on site. Because we control the whole chain, block quality, cable spacing and mat sizes are matched to each project's hydraulic and loading needs.
Typical applications include river and canal banks, culvert inlets and outlets, drainage channels, embankment slopes, low-water crossings and protection over buried pipelines and cables.

FAQ
It is a mat of interlocking precast concrete blocks connected by cables. The mat is flexible, so it follows the ground and keeps protecting it even if the surface settles slightly.
