Service 02

Power Substations

Design and construction of power substations with full EPC capability from 11 kV to 132 kV — civil works, equipment installation, protection and commissioning.

Overview

What this service covers.

Reliable power starts at the substation. MITA delivers substations on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, taking responsibility from layout design and equipment sourcing through civil works, installation, testing and energisation.

Our teams combine civil and electrical disciplines on one site: foundations, cable trenches, control buildings and earthing grids are built in step with transformer, switchgear and protection installation, cutting interface risk and programme time.

We work for utilities, industrial plants, commercial developments and institutions that need new capacity, expansions or upgrades of existing substations.

FAQ

Common questions.

What voltage levels do you work at?

We design and build substations from 11 kV distribution level up to 132 kV transmission level.

Can you extend or upgrade an existing substation?

Yes. We regularly add bays, replace transformers and switchgear, and upgrade protection systems while keeping existing supply running wherever possible.

Do you provide the equipment or only install it?

Both. Under EPC we procure all major equipment; under construction-only contracts we install client-supplied plant.
